Thanks to the yoalin program, I could discover many lovely places in Switzerland.
The first one was Mount Pilatus. Although the first 2 hours of hike were under a very dense fog, we finally came “back to the surface” and were able to see the beautiful “Nebelmeer”. Switzerland may not have a sea, but this was an equally beautiful experience. My advice: always trust the locals about the weather.
The Zermatt region and the views of the Matterhorn do not really need a description… Just amazing, but definitely go on a sunny clear day!
In the region of Appenzel (on my way from Ebenalp to Seealpsee), my effort to meet the locals ended up with a cow chewing my cap. Needless to say, the hike was totally worth it and one of the best ones I have done so far.

Lunch with a view of the Matterhorn (Zermatt, Switzerland; up) and Seealpsee (Ebenalp, Switzerland; down), two beautiful places to enjoy a Sunday hike.
