Through The valley of seven lakes (Dolina sedmerih jezer) you can climb the highest Slovene mountain – Triglav (“Threehead”), which is 2864 m high. There are also other trails possible, just through the valley itself. You will have quite a walk – in sense of time you will need for it and beauty of the valley and lakes. If you plan to go there, make sure, you can have a sleep over in one of the huts. It sure is worth it.
Don’t forget – high alpine lakes are isolated and very sensitive ecosystems. Please appreciate and admire their beauty without swimming in them, (which is also not allowed).
